Here are some topics I am going to talk about which would cover most of my biography (not completely, but at least something), which would be able to say quite a lot about my experience in our beloved JNV Tenughat and hope to see many of you share similar things. It would give us an opportunity and platform to get and keep connected once again. So here it goes:
Current status: Well, currently, I am unemployed. In other words, I have quit my job in order to prepare for UPSC (although I might not crack it, fingers crossed :))
Life after JNV: Recieved a graduation degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Delhi. Of course, then this subject became the main topic for my UPSC paper. At the same time, I am also taking the 'public administration' paper during the preparation.
If someone needs any advice or suggestion regarding the UPSC preparation then please don't hesitate to contact me. In my opinion, Delhi would be an ideal place to prepare for it, btw.
Most memorable memories of JNV for me: Of course, there are so many of them, but I have chosen a few special ones with you guys:

Most memorable memories of JNV for me: Of course, there are so many of them, but I have chosen a few special ones with you guys:
- Entering Nilgiri house with Shantanu Bhaiya, who starts making a noise like 'HOOOOOOOO'....Rest of the house starts making the same noise after him...Typical team players we were, eh? :)
- Playing volleyball games almost every evening
- Waiting for a chance to play Table Tennis game during class hours, you all know what I am talking about, no?
- Chudd fry (remember the evening snack?) lekar road par bikherna
- Watching world cup 2003, and also finding any chance of watching the cricket match by hook or the crook
- Escaping out to the market especially from the temporary site (well, it was pretty close from there)
- Bathing in Kichin-dah
- Rice fry of course. Never tasted something even close to this.
- Eating so many Puris on basketball ground and waiting for Nikhar Khanam to tease Gappu :P. This was always so much fun.
Things I miss the most about JNV: Once again only few are listed here
- Assembly and the prayer, the most important part of our lives. Wish I could follow the same schedule once again. The evening prayer which we tried to finish up in short with the prayer which went something like this: ''Oom shahna bhawantu, shahnau bhunaktu, shah virya karwa vahai, tejashrina vadi tamastu, maa virvisha vahai, ooom shanti, shanti, shanti''
- Mr. S.K. Saha and his spontaneous cultural events, also his greetings like ''Good Morning my dear colleagues and children''
- Nurse madam, arun bhaiya, manoj bhaiya, and many others and what they did for us. When I live away from home or home away from home like our JNV, only then I understood that they weren't that bad.
- Exchanging samosa with jalebi and rasgulla with egg
- Rakshabandhan
Things I won't miss about JNV (at least no so much):
- Interaction with girls, because it never happened
- Also I don't miss Shambhu Prasad sir :P, how can somebody miss him??
- I would like to organize many interactive events for the new students who go there leaving their families behind. Some of them adjust with the situation and some just can't or have a hard time. I think these events would help the new students get used to the whole system and of course I am not talking about ragging here :)
- I would also like to create a committee including senior students and teachers to help the weak students (academically), understanding their problems and finding out possible solutions for their improvements
Near future goals I am working on and how: Well, my new future goal is to become an entrepreneur, but due to some reason I am not working on that and studying for UPSC under certain pressure. If UPSC works, then its fine I will join it, in case if it doesn't then I will try my luck in my own business...
Lines from me to my lovely juniors (still in JNV): My dear brother and sisters, its been ages since we have passed out. Things might have changed a lot there, so has the world outside. Competition is getting tougher everyday. People outside those safe JNV walls have resources, but we have our brains. Please avoid the hatred and help each other. Get in touch with your seniors, ask for necessary help and advice. Study well and hold the hands of your other friends who are lagging behind. Together we can make it; together we can reach the top of the world. Be true to what you do, be honest to all and let's make this world a better place to live...
