Current status: I just started a Ph.D program at RWTH Aachen University here in Germany. I am working on increasing the Solar-cell efficiency by using the tools of nano-technology. It feels good to be working towards making this world a better place considering all the alternative energy sources we can get. My Ph.D program which I started a few months ago is fully funded and I have so much freedom to work on the topic. My professor is really nice and all my work colleagues are super friendly. I know a bit of German but I am working hard at the moment to become fluent in it so that I can contribute towards my scientific research even more.
Life after JNV :   I think most of you already know how my life started after our beloved JNV. For people who don't know or have forgotten, here are all the details:
Left JNV in 2001 to go to the UK by getting the scholarship from Pestalozzi International Village based in England.

Current status: Currently, I am an Undergraduate student in Asian University for Women in Bangladesh. I will be majoring in (will get my bachelors) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. I know, it sounds weird that I am in Bangladesh for studies. Whoever comes to know about it says, Tum to ulti Ganga baha rahi ho, Sab log BD se India aate hai padhne. But, I am here because I was offered a full scholarship for my studies till masters which contains food, lodging and yearly travel expenses. In addition, I have a part time job which is paid by the university, though little, it’s enough for my pocket money. Another reason, it is an International University which has students from all over Asia and which promises a world class education along with a great exposure for students.
